To verify an investor requesting authentication, from the Page Menu:

  1. Go to Administration > Individual Investor / Institutional Investor.
  2. Select Investor > Update .

Unverified investor has the Request Authentication status on them, this indicates they are requesting authentication from you to be able to submit an order.

  1. Check investor data including the SID and SRE, if investor data are correct click Save to validate their SID and SRE with the system's database.

Once an investor is authenticated their status is changed to Authenticated, investors with authenticated status can submit an order through the system, once they submit an order a Maker or an Approver needs to approve their order first before the order is confirmed.

Make sure you enter the correct and active SID and SRE numbers when authenticating your investor, these will be validated with KSEI's SID database, incorrectly submitting the data will return a Deactivated status for the investor until you resubmit the correct data.
